Female foeticide is a very sensitive issue in our society. A birth rate of female children in many states has declined because of life taken while female baby in the womb of the mother. The number of female children has been declining gradually as compared to the male child in many of the states. It is surprising that a culture of patriotic society still exists and pushing the agenda male as the only descendent of the family resulting into the concept of male child only descendent of family and associated the male ego part of it. Today, many families’ vows worship and even undergoes for sex determination in preference to the male child. 

Male child is the only descendent of the family and even support in old age days for the parents is the ideology with which a common person lives. Female child no matter how smart and good she but one day she is the property of other family where she would be married. Many of people believe these types of false beliefs and become a victim and took the extreme decision of female feticide. Today, if we look carefully with our open eyes, we will find that the females not behind the men, even in some areas they are ahead of the men such as education, sports, jobs, carrier, etc. Female is one who contributes in many relations of the life such as mother, sister, wife, etc. even it is been said that for every successful men there is women behind is also true. 

Female child does not have the behavior like male child such as addiction, peer pressure, lack of values, unemployment and illiteracy, etc.  Even after marriage their bond of love, respect, affection, remains the same or it’s more as compared to male with her family. They deserve the respect from the society. We all have to come together to destroy the devil of female feticide and factors associated with it. There are few of the selfish people who try to destroy the balance in society and need to be prevented in a time. 

Sonography machine is used for the sex determination resulting in abortion, and is the reason for missing millions of girls. This is really a fearful situation and brutal behavior which also leading balances in the society. Everyone in society wants good wife, lovable mother, careful sister, in contrast to this they do not want a girl child to borne in their home. This has to stop somewhere in the society which needs big campaign against the sex determination. Social medium such as ‘What’s app groups’, Facebook page etc. can be effectively used for this. Idol people of the society such as politician, head of household, leaders etc. these people can make the change and play a role against female feticide. Since last few years, many extensive steps have been taken from the government. Squad or team is created which took the raids on the sonography centers where illegal practices such as sex determination is being conducted. A criminal offense would be filed against those people who found guilty in the same and their hospital and centers would be closed. The example of Dr.Munde from Beed is known to everybody which proves that the law against sex determination and illegal abortion has made stronger than previously. Nobody will be given a soft corner and strong action would be taken irrespective of any person. Hence now, there is a need of awareness among people for contributing to destroy these types of practices and preference to the male child. 

Killing female child in the womb is one type of action against the will of the God and also against the nature and its boon. Equality among female and male is need of an hour. Hence, never try to spoil the balance between them intentionally, otherwise future generation will never will be spoiled and curse you for this. Sex determination is a serious offense and keep yourself and your society away from such practices.
