Collaboration with Swades Foundation for better health services
MoU signed on 27th Aug
Public Health Department of Maharashtra is committed to health and wellbeing for all and realises the potential of Public Private Partnership to compliment the efforts of government in delivering the holistic health services. In order to take this forward and encourage NGO's participation, Commissioner Health Services and Mission Director NHM Dr Anup Kumar Yadav has signed a MoU with Swadesh foundation at Arogya Bhavan on 27th August, 2019. In particular, the Swades Foundation has been doing some good work in the district of Raigad and assisting the government counter the health issues like cataract, anaemia and malnutrition.
At the event Dr Anup Kumar Yadav has appreciated Swadesh Foundation for their work in Raigad district and conveyed his expectations to expand the similar services all over the State with same conviction and commitment. He wished them luck and expressed his willingness to encourage such collaboration with all the stakeholders who wish to support the Government in realizing its dream of making Maharashtra a healthiest state in India.
At this event, Additional Mission Director Dr Satish Pawar, Joint Director RNTCP Dr Padmaja Jogewar, Swades foundation Managing Trustee Zarina Screwvala, General Manager Mr Tushar Inamdar, Assistant Director Family Welfare Dr Sachin Desai, and representatives of Public Health Department as well as Swadesh Foundation were present.
